Sand that has little grains of mica is valuable. But the sand, which has veins of gold, is much more precious. Thus, sand is valued according to the preciousness of the metal, which it has in its fold. Similarly, human hearts are evaluated by the contents therein. Keep God in your hearts. That is the best way to make your heart the most precious of your possessions. When God is installed in the heart, you will see only God everywhere, even in the objective world. The influence of God is such that even as you contemplate on Him, all traces of envy and greed will disappear from the mind.

மைக்கா எனும் கனிமப் பொருளைக் கொண்ட மணல் விலை மதிப்பானதாகும். ஆனால், தங்க இழைகளைக் கொண்ட மணல் அதனை விட மேலும் மதிப்பு வாய்ந்ததாகும். ஆகையால், தன்னுள் கொண்டிருக்கும் உலோகத்தின் மதிப்பைக் கொண்டுதான் மணல் மதிப்பிடப்படுகிறது. அது போல, மனித இதயங்களும் அவற்றுள் உள்ளவற்றின்படியே மதிப்பிடப்படுகின்றன. கடவுளை உங்கள் இதயங்களில் கொள்ளுங்கள். உங்கள் இதயத்தை, உங்களின் மிகவும் மதிப்பான உடைமையாக மாற்ற இதுவே சிறந்த வழியாகும். கடவுளை உங்கள் இதயத்தில் அமர்த்தினால், நீங்கள் எங்கும் கடவுளைக் காண்பீர்கள். ஏன் இந்த பௌதிக உலகிலும் கூட அவரைக் காண்பீர்கள்! கடவுளின் தாக்கம் எவ்வாறு உள்ளதென்றால், அவரைப் பற்றி நினைத்தாலே, பொறாமை, பேராசை ஆகியவைச் சுவடே இல்லாமல் உங்கள் மனதிலிருந்து நீங்கிவிடும்.
