The whole world is very agitated and full of discontent, anxiety and fear; filled with petty faction and hatred. In order to calm and silence it, you must have enthusiasm and courage. When defeat and disappointment stare you in the face, you must not give way to weakness or despondency. Never condemn yourself as inferior or useless. Analyze the defeat and find out the reasons in order to avoid it the next time. You are not zeroes, you must become Heroes! You should have the muscles of iron and nerves of steel. Then your resolution itself will generate the necessary confidence and you will win over the opposition. For the crop of life, courage and confidence are the best pesticides and manure. Be like lions in the spiritual field, rule over the forest of senses and roam fearlessly with full faith in victory.

உலகம் முழுதும் அற்பமான சண்டைகளினாலும் வெறுப்பினாலும் மிகவும் குழப்பமுற்று, அதிருப்தி, பதற்றம் மற்றும் பயத்தை மூழ்கியுள்ளது. அதனை சாந்தப்படுத்தி, அமைதிப்படுத்துவதற்கு உங்களுக்கு ஆர்வமும் தைரியமும் தேவை. தோல்வியும் ஏமாற்றமும் உங்களை எதிர்கொள்ளும் பொழுது நீங்கள் பலவீனத்திற்கும் மனச்சோர்வுக்கும் இடமளிக்கலாகாது. என்றும் உங்களைத் தாழ்வாகவும் உபயோகமற்றவராகவும் கருதாதீர்கள். தோல்வியை ஆராய்ந்து, அதனை அடுத்த முறை தவிர்ப்பதற்காக, அதன் காரணங்களை கண்டுபிடியுங்கள். நீங்கள் பூஜ்யங்கள் (zeroes) இல்லை, நீங்கள் நாயகர்கள் (heroes) ஆக வேண்டும்! உங்களுக்கு இரும்பாலான தசைகளும், எஃகால் ஆன நரம்புகளும் இருக்க வேண்டும். அவ்வாறானால் உங்கள் சங்கல்பமே உங்களுக்குத் தேவையான நம்பிக்கையைக் கொடுக்கும். நீங்கள் எதிரியை வெற்றி கொள்வீர்கள். வாழ்க்கை எனும் பயிருக்கு, தைரியம் மற்றும் நம்பிக்கை ஆகியவை தான் சிறந்த பூச்சிக்கொல்லி மற்றும் உரமாகத் திகழ்கின்றன. ஆன்மீகக் களத்தில் சிங்கங்கள் போல் இருந்து, புலன்கள் எனும் காட்டை ஆண்டு, வெற்றியின் மேல் முழு நம்பிக்கையும் வைத்து பயமில்லாமல் திரியுங்கள்.

Spend your time in the contemplation of the bounty and beauty of Nature spread out before you on earth and sky – green expanses of the crops, cool breezes that waft contentment and joy, the panorama of coloured clouds, the music of the birds and so on. Sing the glory of the Lord as you walk along the path, amidst the fields, the banks and the waterways. Do not talk hatefully in the midst of all this evidence of love; do not get angry, in these placid surroundings; do not disturb the sky with your shouts and curses. Do not pollute the air with vengeful boasts. A seedling needs water and manure to grow and yield rich harvest. The tiny sapling of spiritual yearning for liberation also needs you to do these – set right your habits, purify your conduct and cleanse your behaviour.

பூமியின் மேலும், ஆகாயத்திலும் படர்ந்துள்ள இயற்கையின் செழிப்பு மற்றும் அழகினை, வயல்வெளியின் பசுமையையும், திருப்தியும் மகிழ்ச்சியும் அளிக்கும் குளிர்காற்றினையும், பல வர்ண மேகங்களின் பரந்த தோற்றத்தையும், பறவைகளின் இசையையும் இரசிப்பதற்கு உங்கள் நேரத்தைச் செலவு செய்யுங்கள். வயல்களின் மத்தியிலும், ஆற்றங்கரைகளிலும், நீர் நிலைகளின் மேல் பயணிக்கும் போதும் கடவுளின் புகழைப் பாடுங்கள். அன்பின் சாட்சியாக விளங்கும் இவ்வனைத்தின் மத்தியின் வெறுப்பு வளர்க்கும் விதமாக,ப் பேசாதீர்கள்; இந்த அமைதியான சூழல்களில் கோபப்படாதீர்கள்; உங்கள் கூச்சல்களிலும், கத்தல்களிலும் ஆகாயத்தைத் தொந்தரவு செய்யாதீர்கள். உங்கள் அஹங்கார பேச்சுகளினால் காற்றைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்தாதீர்கள். இளம் செடி நன்றாக வளர்ந்து, நல்ல விளைச்சல் அளிக்க வேண்டுமானால் அதற்கு தண்ணீரும், உரமும் தேவைப்படுகிறது. இதைப் போல மோக்ஷத்தை அடைவதற்கு ஆழ்ந்த ஆன்மீக ஆர்வம் கொண்ட இளம் செடிக்கு இவை தேவை – உங்கள் பழக்கவழக்கங்களை செம்மைப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள், உங்கள் ஒழுக்கத்தைத் புனிதப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள், உங்கள் நடத்தையையத் தூய்மைப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.
