The army has barbers and sweepers on the payroll; they work in camps and move with the military personnel. They may be engaged in different types of work but everyone has to undergo physical training and drill, everyday. So too, one of you may be working in an office, another in a shop, or in the press, but everyone must engage in sadhana with devotion, discipline and a sense of duty. That is the way to earn Grace!

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, May 1981

Sai Inspires (Short – Tamil) – 22/Feb/2021

The nocturnal birds, lust, anger, greed, attachment, conceit and hatred. infest the tree of life and foul the heart where they build their nests. When we sing aloud the Glory of God, the heart is illumined and they cannot bear the light. Besides, the voice that rises from many throats frightens them and they fly away.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, April 1, 1975

Sai Inspires (Short – Tamil) – 9/Feb/2021

Forbearance, compassion and incorruptible virtue are the three pillars of a happy life.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Parents set bad examples uttering falsehood, scandalising others, gambling, drinking, behaving violently, inflicting injury, becoming addicted to night-clubs, movies and drinking parties, and quarrelling at home after arriving home past midnight. How can children, used to such low sights and sounds, learn to become bright, fresh fragrant flowers of the Sanatana Garden of India?

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, Jan 6, 1975

Sai Inspires (Short – Tamil) – 2/Feb/2021

All things in Nature are as divine (Brahman) as you are! So, any act is Divine; any work is Divine worship. Build the mansion of your life on the strong foundation of the faith that all this is Brahman.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, Oct 4, 1970

Sai Inspires (Short – Tamil) – 19/Jan/2021

Man is deluded with the feeling that he can lead a blissful life by acquiring wealth and position of authority. Neither wealth nor position of authority can confer bliss on you. Bliss can be experienced only when you visualise unity in diversity.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, Aug 22, 2000

Man’s vision should not be confined solely to external objects and worldly things, which are transient and perishable. Man has been given this vision so that he may see the pure, sacred Divine Consciousness abiding in his heart.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, Jan 14, 1994

Sai Inspires (Short – Tamil) – 12/Jan/21

Born in society, brought up in society, educated by society and deriving countless benefits from society, what are you doing for society? Social service should be regarded as an expression of gratitude to society for what it has done to us.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, Mar 23, 1989

Sai Inspires (Short – Tamil) – 11/Jan/21

One should not strive for physical strength and happiness alone. One should strive hard for the control of the mind. One who becomes a slave to one’s mind is bound to become weak, however powerful one may be. So, you should make the mind your slave.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, Jan 14, 2003

Sai Inspires (Short – Tamil) – 4/Jan/2020

Neither physical strength nor wealth, not even intellectual ability can make one respected and honoured. It is the way one lives that confers honour and dignity on him.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Divine Discourse, Dec 25, 1989
